The OERu brand collateral is available in a variety of open standard formats to our partners, and must be used in accordance with our terms of use. Right-click and "Save Image As..." to save the visible image or "Save Link Target As..." for one of the other format options.
Vertical form. This is a CMYK image with a transparent background, at 150 dpi resolution, in Portable Network Graphics (PNG) format.

Format reference
- Portable Network Graphics (PNG ) is a raster format (made up of pixels) and is suitable for direct display, either full-size or reduced size, on the web or in print. It cannot be scaled up without losing image quality. Edit it with free software like The GIMP.
- Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG) is primarily a vector format (with elements mathematically defined) which can usually be scaled up or down without limit. Many modern web browsers will display it directly. Some older browsers will not display it properly. Edit it with free software like Inkscape.
- Encapsulate Postscript (EPS) is an older print-focused format which allows the combination of vector and raster elements - it is generally designed to be read-only.
- Portable Document Format (PDF) is a print-focused format for documents which also allows the combination of vector and raster elements, and is generally used to provide read-only documents, with embedded fonts, which will display consistently across a variety of computing platforms. Some PDFs can be edited with free software like LibreOffice.
