OERu will permanently close on 31 July 2026.

After this date, the website and its online services will no longer be available.

As part of the closure process, learner records and personal information held within the OERu platform will be securely deleted where they are no longer required to be retained.

If you wish to access or save any information from your account, please do so before 31 July 2026.

Established as Maharani Mahila College in 1944, Government College for Women Parade Ground is located in the heart of the old city of Jammu, India. The College has been affiliated with the University of Jammu since 1954 and conferred "Autonomous Status" by the University Grants Commission in January 2014.

The College offers the largest number of courses in the province ranging across Arts,  Science, Commerce and Bachelor in Computer Application (B.C.A). As of 2021, the college serves 6,000 students pursuing Degrees in various disciplines inlcuding postgraduate qualifications in Computer Applications, English, Home Science, Music and Zoology.

The institution has travelled a long journey to become the lead College of the State achieving the status of "Star College" conferred by the Department of Biotechnology of the Government of India.
