OERu Service Closure Notice

OERu will permanently close on 31 July 2026.

After this date, the website and its online services will no longer be available.

As part of the closure process, learner records and personal information held within the OERu platform will be securely deleted where they are no longer required to be retained.

If you wish to access or save any information from your account, please do so before 31 July 2026.

Thank you to everyone who has participated in the OERu community over the years.

Today the OERu international consortium of universities, polytechnics, colleges and agencies launches our first open strategic planning consultation to answer three questions: Where are we now?, Where are we going?, and How do we get there? We invite OERu partners and the open education community to help us plan more affordable, sustainable and scalable education futures for all students worldwide.
